Kyle Stevens

Kyle Stevens looked amazing as usual and came in looking bigger and leaner then ever before. He has unreal potential and when he improves just a bit more for next year he should win the Emerald Cup. He and Cody just may be battling for overall titles at the Emerald Cup and Empire Classic!!
Kyle took 5th place at the Emerald Cup held on April 20th (Northwest's biggest and most competitive show)but to be honest it was so hard to judge and so close you could of tossed a coin between 1st place and 5th.. It was that close!
He then went on to the his hometown show, the Empire Classic on April 27th (which he has won the light heavyweight title two times before).This year he faced his toughest competition in years in his own class being Monty Rogers. Monty took second in the Emerald Cup just the week before and he knew Kyle was biting at his heals at that show . So he made sure that he came in looking even better and leaner for this show. Monty was the deserving winner on that day and looked fantastic and won the overall.. He has some of the best ripped "glutes " that I have ever seen and he plans to enter the Jr. Nationals in 2009 which he should do very well.. Kyle gave him a run for his money but Monty had just a tad bit more sharpness and muscle maturity to carry him for the win. It will be very interesting indeed to see what happens next year if they compete against each other!
